Global omnichannel agency Assembly has appointed Shinji Agawa as General Manager of Japan. Agawa will lead the agency’s Japanese operations from their Tokyo office, with a focus on expanding Assembly’s client base in Japan through the scaling of talent and agency services in data consultancy and strategic media activations. In addition to his 8 years of in-house marketing experience at Canon, Agawa brings over two decades of industry experience from leadership roles at Group M, Hakuhodo and Nielsen.
